The Kintyre Smokehouse is proud to bring our customers two new products for this Christmas 2014: Fresh and Smoked Halibut and Right Royal Pate!
The Fresh and Smoked Halibut comes from the award-winning halibut from Gigha, and is hand-smoked within our kilns at the smokehouse. Prices are per Kg, start from approx. 200g a fillet and are subject to availability. (If you wish to order less than 1Kg of the halibut, please ring the Kintyre Smokehouse (01586 553580) and place your order)
The Right Royal Pate comes in handy 125g tubs as well as 180g tubs and uses our very own Royally Roasted salmon blended with other ingredients to create this delightfully delicious pate.
As the halibut gets packaged there will be more photos placed up on the website as well as our facebook page, so stay tuned!

Held this year at the Glenagles Hotel in Perthshire from the 23-28th September, we were delighted when Fresh Direct/Mecco and Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts approached us regarding supplying the event with our smoked produce.

Great British Food is pleased to announce the winners and runners-up of its inaugural Farm Produce Awards, celebrating the most delicious local foods from producers from all over the British Isles. Over 300 enteries were judged by a panel of food editors across 14 categories.
“This is the first year we’ve run the awards and I’m absolutely delighted with the results,” says Natasha Lovell-Smith, editor of Great British Food magazine and chair of the judging panel, “…the standard of produce was truly remarkable, making the judging extremely hard fought.”
“In Great British Food magazine we celebrate the very best UK produce…and as a result our judges took the taste and provenance of each entry very seriously, as well as awarding points for packaging and overall appearance.”

The team at Campbeltown / Argyll’s infamous Kintyre Smokehouse (part of the MacMillan Food Group) are delighted to announce their participation in this year’s International Food Expo which takes place at Excel London from 17-20th of March 2013.
What is particularly unique and endearing about this compact but very successful operation in the West Highlands of Scotland, is the team behind it. Whilst the production facilities are second-to-none and atmosphere amongst staff simply oozes with charisma and personality, there is one special element that draws everyone together – the absolute passion for creating the best quality smoked seafood and cheese delicacies found in Scotland and arguably, the world.
