Macmillan Foods Vows to Keep Smoking…

The team at Campbeltown / Argyll’s infamous Kintyre Smokehouse (part of the MacMillan Food Group) are delighted to announce their participation in this year’s International Food Expo which takes place at Excel London from 17-20th of March 2013.

What is particularly unique and endearing about this compact but very successful operation in the West Highlands of Scotland, is the team behind it.  Whilst the production facilities are second-to-none and atmosphere amongst staff simply oozes with charisma and personality, there is one special element that draws everyone together – the absolute passion for creating the best quality smoked seafood and cheese delicacies found in Scotland and arguably, the world.

According to Archie MacMillan, the cosmic shaman behind MacMillan Foods and recipe guru of all things smoked:  “We are delighted to be launching our new Kintyre Smokehouse Brand at IFE 2013 which we consider to be one of the world’s best and most important food shows. In addition to offering a taste of our signature products such as Moules Mentales (smoked mussels), Royally Roasted and Sublimely Smoked Salmon plus the Muckle Truckle range of smoked cheeses, we will also be showcasing some unique food / drink pairings in association with our friends at Scotch Broth Events and Springbank Whisky.”
